NASCAR Xfinity Series COTA DFS Picks

NASCAR heads to The Circuit of the Americas this week for the first road course race of the season. All three series race this week on the left and right turns with the Xfinity series having some big names that should compete for the win. There are some top road racing drivers in the Xfinity race this week so it will be some tough competition to get the win.

Knowing the potential dominators this week is pretty easy, what won’t be easy is picking the right few. The top 4 salaried drivers here are all going to be fighting for the win. These 4 are some of the top drivers on road courses and will be the best cars this week. You can only reasonably fit two of them in your lineup so hitting the right pair will be key.

PLACE DIFFERENTIAL PLAYS

John Hunter Nemechek

Parker Kligerman

Riley Herbst

Anthony Alfredo

Alex Labbe

Allgaier is a solid road racer and starts in 15th. He should run in the top 10 for potential for more making him a solid pick. Nemechek is ok at road courses but starting 20th he has some solid place differential potential. Kligerman is a great road racer and he should be a solid play and could be lower owned than some others. Herbst is a bit of a flier, but I think he is a good value and should move forward. Alfredo had some issues in practice but starts in the back and should be a top place differential play at his price. Labbe is a great road racer so if his equipment can hold up, he has top 15 potential.

CHEAP OPTIONS

Cheap drivers are hard to predict on road courses in the Xfinity series. Clements has a good history on road courses but wasn’t great in practice. Sieg has decent finishes on road courses but also some not good runs on them. Starting 27th gives him to room move forward. Weatherman has a lot of place differential potential as well and I think is a solid pick for this week. Honeyman, Ellis, Perkins, Perez are all flier plays that will likely rely on them staying on course without issues and they can gain spots if things get crazy for others.
