We have the first Monday Night Football game tonight with the 49ers and Jets facing off. We have Aaron Rodgers coming back from his injury taking on the best RB in the league in Christian McCaffrey. Draftkings has a $2.25M Monday Night Millionaire Showdown Captain contest as the big contest tonight. There are a ton of question marks on the limited cheap options tonight so constructing lineups might be difficult tonight to fit in the players you want.
Captain Plays
Garrett Wilson
Brandon Aiyuk
I like using WRs in my captain spot as much as possible as they are usually cheaper and have good upside. We have some great WRs in this game to choose from. Wilson is the Jets No. 1 option and I think he will be the one Rodgers relies on in this game. He should get a bunch of targets and have the upside for the captain spot tonight.
Aiyuk got his contract situation figured out and should be the top pass catching option for the 49ers. I see him as a bit of a boom or bust play tonight but he is cheaper than he probably should be so using him at captain I think he is a solid value play. If the 49ers don’t go overboard on the run game and throw the ball a lot he will have upside for 100yds+.
Flex Plays

Mike Williams
McCaffrey is the most expensive option on the slate and will likely be the most popular. He is the top RB in the league and should get high usage in the run and pass game. The only reason I don’t have him at captain is because of his salary and trying to save salary is going to be important on this slate.
Rodgers should have to throw a good amount tonight to keep up with the 49ers offense. I like pairing him with his WRs and I think at least one of them is likely to have a good game. I think Rodgers has a much better chance to score fantasy points tonight than Brock Purdy.
Hall I think is one of the best RBs in the league and should be the workhorse for the Jets. He should play most downs so based on volume alone he will have a chance to be optimal. Only problem is getting him in lineups with the other top options in this slate due to his salary.
Mike Williams is the No. 2 WR for the Jets and us coming off an injury. Before his injury last year he was great for the Chargers. If he is back to normal and if the 49ers focus in on Wilson, Williams could have a big game. I also don’t mind using him at captain for the salary savings.
Cheap Options
Tyler Conklin
Xavier Gibson
Allen Lazard
Kyle Juszczyk
The cheap options are limited tonight as there are not many I trust as we do not know the exact playing time some of these guys are going to get.
Conklin should be the most reliable in terms of playing time as he is the No. 1 TE in the Jets offense. Rodgers has a decent history of throwing TDs to his TEs so if Conklin can get one he will be a good value play.
Gibson and Lazard are the two that have question marks in my mind as we do not know who will be the one with more playing time or volume on the field. They both will be used as the No. 3 WR so it will be a crap shoot on who will be the better option for this game but either should have a chance be good value plays.
Kyle Juszczyk is a real cheap option but he usually has a game or two a season where he is a great value play getting a few catches or a TD. This is a shot in the dark play as it is impossible to predict his games most of the time and he won’t get a ton opportunities.
