NFL TNF Bills-Dolphins Showdown Matchup

The NFL is back in full swing as the Bills and Dolphins matchup to kickoff week two on Thursday Night Football. Draftkings has another big NFL $2.25M Thursday Night Millionaire [$1M to 1st] contest. We have a wide variety of options this week to approach this slate with strategy wise.

Captain Plays

Josh Allen

Jaylen Waddle

Allen is a top option for this slate as he is involved in so many of the Bills plays with his running ability that goes with his passing. He has the best chance to score the most points of any player tonight but comes with the big salary because of it. We do have some value plays tonight that can help fit Allen at the captain spot so if some of those plays work out he could be the best option at captain.

Waddle is a bit of a boom or bust play as Tyreek Hill is the top option on the Dolphins. Waddle has his games though and had over 100 yards last week. If he can have another good game with a TD he could be a good captain option to go against the high owned Hill.

I also don’t mind using Jeff Wilson at captain but I have him under my value plays tonight.

Flex Options

Tyreek Hill

Tua Tagovailoa

James Cook

Dalton Kincaid

Tyreek Hill is the top option on the Dolphins and will likely get the ball in his hands a good amount. He is expensive on this slate but the Dolphins are going to have to score a lot of points to keep up with the Bills and Tyreek is likely to be a big part of that.

If the Dolphins are going to keep up with the Bills, Tua is going to be a big part of that. I already mentioned Waddle and Hill, so their passer is going to do well if both of those WRs are going to be good tonight. Tua is a good option to pair with his WRs or if you want to go Dolphins heavy on your lineups.

James Cook is involved on the run and pass game on the Bills offense so he gets a good amount of touches in a game. There are a few other RBs that come in on the Bills but Cook is their clear top option. He is a little TD dependent to be a real high scorer but he has a high floor usually.

Kincaid didn’t get the targets everyone expected and hoped last week so this is a spot where you hope the coaches saw that this week and they will try to get him the ball this week. He is a great red zone threat and hopefully has a lot better game this week.

Value Plays

Keon Coleman

Jeff Wilson Jr

Mack Hollins

There are a handful of good value plays on the slate tonight. Coleman was the WR on the Bills that was on the field the most and is priced under $6000. He should be the top option for them even though it is pretty even among their top 3 WRs, and I expect him to have more opportunities in this game than he did last week.

Wilson will be a popular play tonight as Raheem Mostert is out for this game and Achane is questionable. He should get many opportunities in this game and is a top option for the slate. At his salary I think it will be difficult for him not to be in the winning lineup. I also don’t mind using Wilson as a captain to fit in more top players.

Hollins is another good option as he was on the field a lot last week for the Bills. He is their clear No. 3 WR and had a TD last week from Josh Allen. He has great usage for his salary and is a good play to help fit other top players in your lineup.
